Athens Airport Expansion Programme

Athens International Airport Limited (AIA) is embarking on a € 1 billion expansion project, which will the larger scale expansion of the existing passenger terminal and airfield infrastructure. Arup is part of the design team tasked with preparing the outline design for this important and complex project.

Kognitive is serving as the cost and commercial advisor, leading on detailed cost estimating and planning, BoQ development, value engineering, value management, risk assessment, and broader commercial and cost activities. Through deep sector knowledge and experience, we are able to pinpoint gaps in cost coverage and rapidly assess the impacts of change scenarios and emerging options.

We are working with Sterling to deploy their cloud-based cost management system to enhance data accessibility and streamlines client collaboration, adding real and tangible value across the project lifecycle.
